Been a busy 12 months on the farm. The White Galloways are taking up more of my time.
However a wee update rider did well in Australia with Trish and won Best In Show and gained his Australian championship title. Our youngest girl Mary Lou (NZ CH Sailema crusade Tiara) gained her NZ CH Title in 2014. Dylan is still being shown in a few shows and is 6 years old this year and I would day is looking stunning . His stud last year produced a wonderful litter and Lacy and Dylan's daughter Rose is kicking a storm in the show ring and even won the Gundog group in Nelson as a puppy!! Look forward to pups later this year fingers crossed. On a sad Note Lilly our foundation Bitch at 13 years has cancer. We hope she will last the year. Zoe and Bliss at Rotorua Best of Breed!!! What can I say its been full on the last 4 months with moving due to the earthquakes in Christchurch and our house being demolished. We have now settled on to farm life in North Canterbury. However we have managed a few shows latley. "Rider" NZ Ch Birchlands Crown Crusader won 2 BOB and 3 ROB in 6 shows. Many thanks to Jayne, Mark and Rae for showing him. 23rd June "Bliss" Brichlands Royalty at Sailema gained her 8th BCC to get her CH title. Many thanks to young Zoe who handled her expertly and Carolyn from Janan Cockers for having Bliss for a wee sleep over. Zoe gained 3 Best of Breed and 4 Reserve of Breeds. WELL DONE!!!! Fuffly to his friends turned 4 on the 1st May. A Yummy dog cake and new fuffly toy.
Daisy has retired to a farm with her own conservatory,leather couch, spa and BBQ. Nice for some! Bliss has been winning many RBCC"S and Junior of Breed. Its tough out there!! Rider juggles between winning Junior dog and RDCC!!! Thank you Jane!! Dylan in only his second show since returning from Australia wins Best in Show at the Auckland Spaniel Show with Judge; Kathy Gorman Uk ( Spaniel specialist) Bliss also won 4th in the Puppy Stakes at the ladies KA All Breeds Show Sund 6th Nov 2011. Bliss also takes part in her first Gundog trail training day at teh Ashley River and is very keen!!! 20th Nov 2011. There is a few dead pigeions in my free Dylan was so good for me but I am sure my daughter would have shown him better! can't wait till Amelia gets home. Many thanks to Jayne Hamilton who handled Freddie to gain his last DCC and then won Best of Breed at South Canterbury Kennal Society Show Sun 16th Oct 2011 judge: Mrs S Bruno AUST.
