It has bee a busy year with puppies in Feb. All are doing well in their new homes. Dylan had a few outing picking up some age groups. A Major win was Veteran in Show at the Southern Gundog Society in April. The National Dog Show was held in Christchurch. Dylan the old by managed Best of Breed closely challenged by his daughter!! So As veteran he qualified for Cruffs Show!!! Dylan also made it toe the Veteran finals.
Unfortunately Jazz has not produced any puppies so sad. We hope for better things in 2017. Merry Xmas to all my puppy owners and all the best for 2017 Been a busy 12 months on the farm. The White Galloways are taking up more of my time.
However a wee update rider did well in Australia with Trish and won Best In Show and gained his Australian championship title. Our youngest girl Mary Lou (NZ CH Sailema crusade Tiara) gained her NZ CH Title in 2014. Dylan is still being shown in a few shows and is 6 years old this year and I would day is looking stunning . His stud last year produced a wonderful litter and Lacy and Dylan's daughter Rose is kicking a storm in the show ring and even won the Gundog group in Nelson as a puppy!! Look forward to pups later this year fingers crossed. On a sad Note Lilly our foundation Bitch at 13 years has cancer. We hope she will last the year. Zoe and Bliss at Rotorua Best of Breed!!! What can I say its been full on the last 4 months with moving due to the earthquakes in Christchurch and our house being demolished. We have now settled on to farm life in North Canterbury. However we have managed a few shows latley. "Rider" NZ Ch Birchlands Crown Crusader won 2 BOB and 3 ROB in 6 shows. Many thanks to Jayne, Mark and Rae for showing him. 23rd June "Bliss" Brichlands Royalty at Sailema gained her 8th BCC to get her CH title. Many thanks to young Zoe who handled her expertly and Carolyn from Janan Cockers for having Bliss for a wee sleep over. Zoe gained 3 Best of Breed and 4 Reserve of Breeds. WELL DONE!!!!
